The Country way...
It is very cold here, but I am pleased to have a house with heating this winter. It is nice to be out in the ice crunching about knowing that you can go home to a warm fire. In the tree house in Guildford we would go out because often it was infact warmer outside than in the shack itself.
I have been invited to a Cow auction. How very exciting. I am slightly worried that taking someone with my twitching capabilities could end up in me taking home a lot of cows. So I have not confirmed whether I will be attending yet.
I also have a new car, maybe I could fit one or two (small) cows in it. The poor Mini who I loved dearly had to go due to my new poorer way of life that I have chosen. In its place I have a proper country car. A lovely Landrover - no water, snow or ice will hold me back now. Open fields.... here I come.

Awww, I bet you were sad to see your mini go :'(
Although at least you had a choice - last week my driving instructor's mini burst into flames during a lesson!
Please, Please, Please, Please, PLEASE...
...get someone to film you at the auction. They can also act as your minder in case you make bovine-realistic utterances that might otherwise see you end up as one of the lots (particularly if the auctioneer-type is short-sighted). And somehow, I can't imagine you'd return them much profit in Badger milk or Badger steak (eek!).
Out of curiousity, has the arrival of the LR made the dog bus feel inadequate?
Don't worry Badger, if you accidentally buy some cows I will gladly take them off your hands (if you can drive them down here in your Landy that is!)
My Mini is grieving.
It's a very pretty LR though :)

Cor country-style rover! Happy Cmas, Badger. Thanks for leading me to waterskiing doggies I got one for Christmas!
OMG you must go to the cow auction. It'd be soooooo rude not too. And the whole family would love a cow if you accidentally twitched for it!
PS: I know it's very naughty of me, but you can reach the peddles in that land battlecruiser? Right?
It's a bit quiet here, isn't it??
Oh Badger! the thought of you accidentally buying cows made me laugh out loud! Bless you :)
Its goodbye to the mini and hello brave new world! Are you posting over at the sheep blog now?
